Thickener

Thickener

  • The thickener is a continuous working equipment for thickening and clarification.

  • Which is mainly used for thickening of concentrate and tailings slurry in wet mineral processing operations; it can also be used for thickening and purification of all solid-containing slurries in industries such as coal, chemical, building materials, water sources, and wastewater treatment.

  • The solid particles of the processed slurry settle down to the bottom of the tank under the influence of gravity. They are scraped by a continuously rotating mud scraper and collected in a sediment pit at the center of the tank, from which they are transported by a sand pump. The clarified water flows over the overflow weir around the tank and is pumped to a high-level circulating water tank, thus completing the concentration process.

Note 1: NZS-6 is printed with an additional S; every other model carries the NZ- prefix — reproduced as printed in the catalogue.

Note 2: Capacity is expressed in t/d (tonnes per day), not t/h, for every model in this table.

Note 3: A lifting height of "/" indicates that the model has no lifting mechanism, as printed in the catalogue.

Note 4: Drive motors of 2.2×2 kW (NZ-30G and NZ-40) and 4×2 kW (NZ-45A) are multi-motor arrangements, as printed in the catalogue.

Note 5: Total weight is not progressive across the range (for example NZ-18 at 16 t, NZ-20 at 82.6 t, NZ-30Q at 78.2 t against NZ-30G at 31.8 t); the models marked Metal Tank are heavier — reproduced as printed in the catalogue.
